For the third time this season, a rival of the Nebraska Cornhuskers is in trouble with the NCAA.

Against the Michigan Wolverines, the Nebraska Cornhuskers have had a terrible difficulty overtaking their opponent. However, Matt Rhuse and company may at least feel secure in the knowledge that they won’t be accused of NCAA breaches every other month.

Not so fortunate are Jim Harbaugh and his football team. The NCAA made allegations of irregularities earlier this week.

NBC Sports reports that Michigan was notified this week that they are once again under investigation by the NCAA for recruiting infractions and unapproved coaching practices. The organization is specifically investigating whether or not an off-field football staff member from Michigan broke any regulations by teaching on the field during practice.

This comes after Harbaugh attempted to avoid NCAA sanctions for prior recruiting infractions by missing multiple weeks of the season’s first half. Naturally, this was followed by a ban after it was claimed Michigan was spying on its opponents. To put it mildly, this season has been interesting.

Jim Harbaugh’s future with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and his potential decision to rejoin the NFL in the offseason are the current questions.
