Auburn football is making early waves in the recruitment of Joshua Sam Epelle, a highly-ranked offensive tackle from Douglasville, Georgia, in the class of 2027. Despite being just a sophomore, Epelle has already received over ten scholarship offers, with Auburn being the first to extend one in the spring.
Epelle recently visited Auburn for their game against New Mexico, marking his second trip to the Plains as a recruit. The 4-star lineman has shown significant interest in Auburn early in his recruiting process, and the Tigers appear to be a top contender for his commitment.
While it’s still early, Auburn’s proactive approach and Epelle’s engagement suggest a strong relationship developing between the prospect and the program. If the momentum continues, Auburn could be in prime position to land one of the top offensive linemen in the 2027 class.
