Five-star QB Jared Curtis lines up Auburn visit
Auburn has already secured its quarterback from the 2025 recruiting class in Deuce Knight and has its sights set on a top prospect at the position for 2026.
Jared Curtis, a 2026 quarterback from Nashville, Tennessee, announced recently that he is reopening his recruitment after backing off his pledge to Georgia on Oct. 17. Auburn joins Georgia and Alabama as schools of interest for the five-star signal-caller.
According to a report by Hunter Shelton of On3, Curtis will visit Auburn for the Tigers’ next home game, Nov. 2 against No. 25 Vanderbilt. Curtis will look to give Georgia another shot to land him on Nov. 16 when he visits Athens for the Tennessee game and will check out Alabama on Nov. 30 for the Iron Bowl.
In the interview with Shelton, Curtis says that he is looking for stability in a program and a place that he can connect with coaches, teammates, and the community. Does Curtis have a timeline for announcing his next move?
“I’d say I’m going to hold off for a little bit. Just take it step by step, you know, finish my season I have going this year,” Curtis said. “Obviously I want to take a couple of officials, get up there, connect with the coaches, a couple times to each place, probably.”
Curtis is a 6-3, 225-pound quarterback from Nashville, Tennessee. He is considered a five-star quarterback by On3 and ESPN, and is a top-five quarterback from the 2026 class by all major outlets. Ohio State is the favorite to land him according to On3 despite a visit not being planned as of the timing of this post.
