Auburn football ended 2024 on a high note landing the No. 1 wide receiver in the transfer portal Eric Singleton Jr.

Singleton caught 104 passes for 1,468 yards and nine touchdowns during his two seasons with Georgia Tech, leading the team in receiving yards both years.

Former Yellow Jackets tight end Jackson Hawes played his final college season alongside Singleton after transferring from Yale.

During his media availability Thursday morning at the NFL Combine, Hawes had nothing but great things to say about Singleton.

“He’s a total speedster that wins with his speed and runs crisp routes,” Hawes said. “He is an all-out competitor. Most of our gameplan was run action stuff and our OC would just say throw the ball up to him. His track background helps him out a bunch and overall, he’s a baller.”

Singleton has two years of eligibility left when he arrives to Auburn. The first day of spring practice for the Tigers is scheduled for March 25.

Tiger fans will get their first glimpse of all the new offseason additions during the Spring football game Saturday, April 12 inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.
