Update: SF Injury Report | Demon scheduled to appear

Rhi Watt of Melbourne will try to return from his concussion in time for Sunday’s semi-final matchup with Geelong.

AFLW Head of High-Performance Sam Batterton gave an update on the Demon, who missed last week’s action due to a concussion suffered during Round 10.

“Rhi is progressing quite nicely,” Batterton informed Melbourne Media.

She will train with the group today and begin full training on Thursday, having completed the first two sessions with flying colors.

“So she’ll be able to play if she makes it through the week.”

Gab Colvin, who has spent time on the sidelines with Achilles soreness, has continued to work through her rehab schedule.

“Gab is making progress, albeit steady progress,” Batterton said.

“She’s looking to build through the backend of this week and into next week and we’re quite optimistic about where we can get her to.”

Sarah Lampard (wrist) and Casey Sherriff (forearm) are both continuing to get involved in training despite their respective fractures.

Despite only having one arm, Sarah is participating in a lot of drills and is truly interested in the football aspect of things, according to Batterton.

“And Casey recently started running again.

“So, they’re making progress, but their current situation is a little frustrating.”
