British GP will “never” be rivaled by Las Vegas, according to Lewis Hamilton.

F1 has made every effort to guarantee this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix will be the most lavish yet.

Prior to the first race in Las Vegas since 1982, there have been a lot of complaints. The locals are upset about how their lives have been drastically interrupted for the past nine months.

Due to F1’s self-promotion of the event—something they have never done before—the majority of the complaints have been directed towards the sport.

Construction work started nine months ago to ensure that this weekend’s event is as big as possible, resulting in extraordinary traffic for almost a year.

Locals apparently want the world’s best motorsports to pack up and go because four-mile trips have taken several hours.

Hamilton hopes that the people in the area will come to love and appreciate Formula One Racing, but he doesn’t think the Las Vegas Grand Prix will grow to be as popular as the British Grand Prix. It will undoubtedly be an event unlike any other.

According to Total-Motorsport.com, Hamilton told the media, “It is a big show for sure.”

“And it may not happen as quickly as Silverstone, but perhaps in due course, the people in this community will develop a similar passion for the sport that we have been fortunate enough to witness as we grow older.

“The track might turn out well, or poorly. The simulation was mediocre; it’s not as good as Silverstone, but you should give it a shot before passing judgment.

After the United States Grand Prix and the Miami Grand Prix, this weekend will be the third race held in the United States this season.

Some people think it’s unfair that the US has three races while countries like Germany and India only have one.

Hamilton has repeatedly argued in favor of F1 racing taking place in the US, acknowledging that “one wasn’t enough” to guarantee that the sport was capitalizing on the market.

“I think you’ll still see good racing here, the sport is growing and ultimately it is a business,” Hamilton continued.

It’s simply such a large nation. We needed at least two races, in my opinion, in order to truly capture the interest of the audience and tap into the market.

“One wasn’t enough, and this is one of the most famous and distinctive cities in the country, with all the lights and spectacles among the other incredible cities in the United States.”
