Breaking Report: Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham are all running for a top young player

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Chelsea are currently in the running to capture a brilliant young player.

Due to his all-around skill, Ferguson, who is 19 years old, is even compared to Harry Kane as a potential future superstar in the sport (The Athletic).

Spurs see the teenager as a possible Kane succession, according to several reports in recent weeks. However, the North London team would need to pay a huge price for the center-forward because he recently signed a new contract at the Amex Stadium that goes until 2025.

Chelsea and Arsenal enter the race for Ferguson

TEAMtalk has now claimed that Arsenal and Chelsea have entered the competition to recruit Ferguson, with both London teams reportedly desiring to bolster their squads with a number nine.

The report states that Mauricio Pochettino has identified the teenager as the man to bolster Chelsea’s frontline and the Blues are allegedly prepared to wait to get their man.

Meanwhile, it is asserted that Arsenal have been scouting the youngster for a long time and are extremely keen on beating their rivals to the player’s signature.

The publication adds that Brighton value the Republic of Ireland internationally at over £100m and there is even some hope at the South Coast club that they could sell the striker for a fee in excess of the the British-record £115m they got for Moises Caicedo.

Ferguson is a very well-rounded center-forward with virtually no faults in his game, which puts him on the radar of all the best clubs in the Premier League and throughout Europe.

Spurs, however, no longer stand a realistic prospect of regaining the 19-year-old’s contract because Brighton would undoubtedly seek more than £100 million for the player.
