Love gesture: Cristiano Ronaldo gives Vinicius Junior a “signed” jersey to lift his spirits in the midst of his injury

Ronaldo’s Portugal jersey from the match against Liechtenstein has a personal note from the star of Al Nassr.

Legendary player Cristiano Ronaldo sent his “signed” jersey as a kind gesture to help Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior, whose 2023 season is in doubt due to an injury he sustained during the World Cup qualifiers against Colombia.

The Al Nassr hero wore the Portugal jersey—which also has a message from Ronaldo on it—during his match against Liechtenstein, according to Goal.

The 23-year-old winger for Real Madrid shared a photo of Ronaldo’s kind present on social media.

On his Instagram account, the post said, “A little trip of my gallery.”

Ronaldo’s action is evidence of his generosity and his readiness to encourage and help his teammates.

Vinicius hurt his left thigh during Brazil’s 2-1 loss to Columbia last week. He is set to miss weeks of activity before playing again in the second month of January.

Ronaldo’s present will undoubtedly raise his spirits while he heals from his wound.

In the meantime, Ronaldo scored three goals on Saturday, including a stunning 40-yard goal, as Al Nassr defeated Al Akhdoud 3-0.

Vinicius quickly complimented his hero in the comments area of Ronaldo’s Instagram post, writing “SIIIII” with a crown sign on either side of it.

His Real Madrid teammate Rodrigo also complimented the football legend in a comment that featured an emoji of a goat and a heart-eyed face.

Notably, with 15 goals so far, the 38-year-old attacker remains the top scorer in the Saudi Pro League despite this brace. Obviously, he’ll want to keep up his form.
