Injury Update: Devin Booker’s ankle injury raises questions for the Suns-Nuggets game that is coming up.

Devin Booker abruptly left the bench and headed to the locker room during the first quarter of the Phoenix Suns’ Wednesday night game against the Toronto Raptors. It was a brief but disturbing incident.

Fans appeared to have their concerns alarmed when it was revealed that the Suns star simply needed to visit the restroom.

The comfort was fleeting, though, as Booker stumbled to the Suns’ sideline shortly after using the restroom, tripping over another player’s foot.

This time, though, the star guard for the Suns went back to the locker room to get his ankle fixed.

Booker appeared to be having trouble with his ankle even though he was able to return to the court. The Suns’ loss was mostly due to D-Book’s difficulties, as he finished with just 8 points on a season-low 2-12 shooting.

In expressing his viewpoint, Suns head coach Frank Vogel said that Booker was “just trying to tough it out.”

According to Duane Rankin of AZCentral, Vogel also discussed his “concernement” with the Bookers’ position going into their Friday game against the Denver Nuggets.

There is naturally worry that Devin Booker would need to miss some more time, even if it’s just as a precaution, since he has already missed eight games this season due to a similar injury.

Keep checking back for further information.
