Disturbing News As Top QB Earneds A Spot In the Giants’ matchup Against the Packers on “Monday Night Football”, What Are Your Thoughts?

Head coach Brian Daboll confirmed on Tuesday that Tommy DeVito will continue to start at quarterback for the New York Giants when they play the Green Bay Packers on Monday night in Week 14.

DeVito, a rookie at the age of 25, will be making his fourth straight start and hopes to lead the Giants to their third straight victory.

After Tyrod Taylor was placed on injured reserve after missing four games with a rib injury, there was considerable speculation that DeVito would make a comeback to the bench in Week 14. However, DeVito has earned the start against the Packers based on his performance in their last two games, which included 35-for-51 passing yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

With this performance, DeVito became the sixth undrafted rookie in the common era to win two of his first three starts and the fifth rookie with a passer rating of 100 or higher in back-to-back starts. He also won the Week 11 Rookie of the Week award in the NFL. For the 4-8 Giants, he has emerged as a bright point in an otherwise forgettable season.

DeVito and the Giants will not have an easy game. The Packers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night to extend their winning streak to three games. With a 6-6 record and a current seventh-place NFC standing, their chances of making the playoffs are still alive.

The Giants’ last four-game winning streak from Weeks 4 to 7 of the previous season, which included a 27-22 victory against the Packers, saw them win three straight games.
