Great News As Miami Dolphins Make Changes to Their Squad

The Miami Dolphins declared that defensive tackle Brandon Pili has been waived and tackle Terron Armstead has been activated off injured reserve.

On March 24, 2022, Miami signed Armstead as an unrestricted free agent from New Orleans. After the 2022 season, he was chosen for the Pro Bowl for the fourth time in his career. He has started 15 games for Miami, including two this season. This past offseason, Armstead was named No. 83 on the NFL Network Top 100 list. Following a nine-year stint in New Orleans, he has participated in 112 career games at left tackle (108 starts) (2013-21). Armstead played collegiately at Arkansas Pine-Bluff before being selected by New Orleans in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft (75th overall).

In his four games, he recorded two tackles, one of which was solo. Pili played in 52 career games at USC over the course of six seasons (2017–22), recording 74 tackles (28 solo), 3.5 sacks, four passes defensed, and one forced fumble. In 2017, as a true freshman, he recorded 14 tackles (three solo) and blocked a field goal, good for honorable mention All-Pac 12.
