Jim Harbaugh, the football coach at Michigan, delivers a shocking revelation about playing Jalen Milroe of Alabama in the College Football Playoffs.

Jim Harbaugh, the football coach at Michigan, described the hardship of playing against Jalen Milroe and Alabama football in startling detail.

This past Saturday, Michigan football wrapped up a perfect regular season by shutting out Iowa 26-0 in the Big Ten Championship Game. After the game, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh and his squad took a break and waited to hear who their next College Football Playoff opponent would be.

According to the most recent forecasts, Coach Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide will defeat Michigan in their first game for the third straight year. Entering the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on January 1, Harbaugh referred to the matchup between Saban and Alabama as “iconic.”

The Wolverines’ coach praised Alabama star QB Jalen Milroe during a conference call with reporters on Monday.

“He’s playing at an elite level, and you can see the improvement throughout the season,” Harbaugh said. “Just really seems like he hit an inflection point there right before the halfway mark.”

“He’s playing really well within the system,” Harbaugh added. “They’ve designed some great stuff for him. We have a similar quarterback, so we have just noticed the level he’s playing at. He’s elite.”

The Wolverines are the number one overall seed in the playoff but have lost their last two opening round playoff games.

Due to an injury, standout Michigan running back Blake Corum missed the team’s 51-45 victory over TCU in the previous season. The star of Michigan’s football victory over Ohio State in 2022, backup running back Donovan Edwards, was also dealing with a persistent injury at the time.

It will require a complete team effort for Michigan to defeat the SEC powerhouse Alabama football team on January 5 at 5 p.m. ET. Harbaugh has been preaching this idea ever since the field of four teams was revealed, which is why the Michigan term “BET” stands for “Bringing Everyone Together.”
