Nebraska football could look for help in proven Buckeyes QB

According to 247Huskers, Marcus Satterfield, the assistant coach for the Cornhuskers, is traveling to visit Kyle McCord in Columbus, Ohio. After a disappointing season, Nebraska is determined to improve the depth of its quarterback position.

Heinrich Haarberg, a sophomore, passed for 967 yards and seven touchdowns. Moreover, he led the squad in rushing yards (477). The Cornhuskers are still searching for methods to improve their offensive output.

Nebraska will receive a much-needed boost from Kyle McCord. During the 2023–24 season, McCord has passed for 3,170 yards and six touchdowns. The junior quarterback is ranked eighth in the country with a QBR of 83.7.

Despite having a tremendous regular season, McCord and the Buckeyes lost their last game versus the Wolverines, 30-24. McCord, the individual has only thrown four interceptions this season, two of which came in the Michigan game. Nonetheless, he struggled in part because of the Wolverines’ elite defense.

The Huskers will have a lot of choices to make, but they can improve and return to winning in 2024.
