The Miami Dolphins are expected to be significantly shorthanded when they play the New York Jets this coming Saturday. The final injury reports for both teams were made public on Friday.

After suffering a Week 14 loss to the Tennessee Titans, the Miami Dolphins will try to recover in Week 15 against the New York Jets. In order to maintain their command of the AFC East, their chances of winning the AFC playoffs, and their season sweep of their division opponents, they must emerge from the weekend victorious. They might be operating with a small staff, according to the team’s Friday injury report.

Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins’ star wide receiver, has been sidelined for the whole week due to an ankle injury sustained during last week’s game, making him doubtful for this one. Hill is not the only Miami team member that is on the field or a starter.

Both offensive lineman Robert Hunt and safety DeShon Elliott were declared out of the game by the Dolphins due to chronic hamstring issues, respectively. Elliott is still dealing with concussion symptoms.

Running back De’Von Achane, tackle Terron Armstead, running back Chris Brooks, offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg, safety Jevon Holland, cornerback Xavien Howard, tackle Austin Jackson, and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel are all included in the dubious group with Hill. The Dolphins held a complete workout on Friday, the only practice this week, with restricted participation from everyone in the Miami doubtful category but Hill.

Brooks has a knee injury, Armstead has ankle and knee problems, and Achane is dealing with a toe injury. Howard is struggling with a hip ailment, Eichenberg is dealing with a calf problem, Holland is still dealing with strains to both knees, and Jackson and Van Ginkel are both suffering with oblique issues.

Compared to Miami’s, the Jets’ injury report is far shorter. Due to an ankle injury, wide receiver Jason Brownlee will not be playing in the game. Meanwhile, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is practicing but will not be reinstated from the injured reserve list as he continues to recover from an Achilles tear.

Carter Warren, an offensive lineman, had a hip ailment and was listed as doubtful.

After spending the whole week on the injury report, running back Nick Bawden (knee), defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (ankle), offensive lineman Max Mitchell (neck), and offensive lineman Joe Tippman (shoulder) were all designated as questionable. With a knee injury, defensive lineman Will McDonald IV was added to the injury report on Friday; his final categorization was listed as questionable.

Miami’s injury problems may have a significant impact on both their postseason standing and this weekend’s matchup. Can any of the injured players continue to play despite their condition?
