Breaking: Great News as Broncos sign excellent DB to the team

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado – Regarding their practice squad, the Broncos have taken action.

On Tuesday, the Denver Broncos announced the addition of defensive back Keidron Smith to their practice squad.

In a related move, the Broncos cut safety Dallin Leavitt from the practice roster.

In 60 collegiate games as an undrafted rookie, Smith recorded 269 tackles, 26 passes defensed, seven interceptions, six forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. Before moving to Kentucky for his final season, he appeared in all 47 games and started 29 for the University of Mississippi. During his lone season with the Wildcats, Smith was named to the second team of the SEC.

Smith has been with the Commanders and Dolphins, but he hasn’t played in a game yet.

Veteran player Leavitt signed with the practice squad of the Broncos in late November.
