Great news: The recruitment team of the Michigan wolverines have been given the Green light to sign top rated PR.

Michigan needs to produce two wideouts in their place.

Greetings and welcome to SB Nation Reacts, an NCAA fan survey. We pose questions to the nation’s most engaged Michigan Wolverines supporters as well as fans across throughout the year. To take part in the weekly email surveys, register here.

The Michigan Wolverines are the best team in the country, but they will need to replace important players who are leaving for the NFL if they want to be the best team in 2024. Cornelius Johnson and Roman Wilson, the top two wide receivers from Michigan, will both be selecting in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fans of Michigan were asked what positions the team should target in the transfer portal in this week’s SB Nation Reacts.

48 percent of fans would like to see Michigan target a receiver, 29 percent say they should target a cornerback, and 16 percent say quarterback.

Two transfer receivers that Michigan is keeping an eye on are Donovan McCulley of Indiana and Jahmal Banks of Wake Forest. McCulley was offered by Michigan, and Banks is scheduled to visit Michigan in January. This season, 6-foot-5 McCulley recorded 48 receptions for 644 yards and six touchdowns. Banks totaled 4 touchdowns, 653 receiving yards, and 59 catches.

With former USC wide receiver Domani Jackson, 247Sports believes that Michigan and Alabama are “worth keeping an eye on” when it comes to cornerbacks. According to JPGCFB, the Wolverines have also spoken with Mumu Bin-Wahad, a former UConn CB.

  • Michigan was in contact with former UCLA QB Dante Moore, but Moore has since committed to Oregon. Whether Michigan starting QB J.J. McCarthy returns for his senior season or enters the NFL Draft, Michigan will likely still add a portal quarterback — something that has become the norm during the Jim Harbaugh era.

Michigan fans were also asked if they think high school recruiting or the transfer portal is more important for the Wolverines.
