Michigan football: Jim Harbaugh’s heartfelt remarks about his third consecutive appearance in the CFP

Coach Jim Harbaugh of Michigan football is having a great time as his team advances to the College Football Playoffs for the third consecutive year.

Jim Harbaugh, the football coach of Michigan, has had a difficult season. While the NCAA conducted an investigation, he was suspended; yet, he assisted in leading Michigan football to yet another winning season. The Wolverines’ captain isn’t taking anything for granted as his team advances to the College Football Playoffs for the third consecutive year.

““Your dreams can come true. This was one of our goals,” Harbaugh said, per Action Network.

Michigan takes on Alabama on New Year’s Day in a national semi-final game, with an opportunity to go to the national championship on the line. Michigan has been bounced out of the semi-final the last two years, and Harbaugh knows that nothing is guaranteed when it comes to next year. This could very well be his last opportunity in a while to win a national championship at Michigan.

The Wolverines, who finished first in the Big Ten this year and won the title, come into the game with a perfect 13-0 record. Due to a Big Ten conference inquiry into whether the Michigan football program stole signs from other schools, Harbaugh was suspended and forced to hand over head coaching duties to Sherrone Moore for the next three regular season games. Though Harbaugh refuted the claims, the school did fire an analyst and the coach of the linebackers.

With two more victories, Michigan can win its first national championship since 1997. Alabama is the first team in the way, having won multiple CFP crowns in the past ten years. Michigan will play the winner of the Washington-Texas game in the National Championship if it defeats Alabama.

On New Year’s Day, Michigan and Alabama meet at 5:00 Eastern.
