Remarkably, Red Bull has revealed information about the vehicle they believe would allow them to maintain their dominance in Formula 1.
According to performance engineer Ben Waterhouse, the world champions’ RB20 for the upcoming season is “at least six months old,” and they have already begun to consider their 2025 vehicle, which is probably going to be called the RB21.
The Milton Keynes team’s principal, Christian Horner, disclosed that the team had already turned its focus to 2024 during the club’s incredible, record-breaking 2023 season.
With McLaren displaying some excellent speed, Red Bull will be hoping that this was the cause of their competitors beginning to catch up with them at the end of 2023.
The team hopes to replace the RB19, which Horner recently referred to as “the most successful car in F1 history,” with a vehicle that can continue to lead teams like McLaren, Mercedes, and Ferrari by a significant margin.
Red Bull’s new challenger
Waterhouse has now made a shocking revelation on the team’s 2024 vehicle.
According to statements he made, “The RB20 is a car that is at least six months old,” Formula Passion said.
“And we are already starting to move our attention on the RB21, even if the season has not yet started.”
