Big News For The Huskers Football Team, As Excellent RB Commits To The Huskers…

With the commitment of former Oregon running back Dante Dowdell to the Huskers, Nebraska gained a great deal of depth in the running back room today.

During the previous season, Dowdell participated in six games and ran 17 times for 93 yards and one touchdown. He will be able to play at Nebraska for three more years.

According to 247, Dowdell was a four-star prospect out of Picayune, Mississippi and the ninth-ranked running back in the country for the 2023 recruiting class. According to the transfer portal, he is the tenth-ranked prospect.

The dedication of Dowdell compensates for the loss of top-ranked Kewan Lacy to Missouri.

By 2024, Nebraska should have a strong running back corps. Rahmir Johnson and Gabe Ervin will recuperate from their wounds. Kwinten Ives and Emmett Johnson both looked good carrying the weight in the running game.

With a listed weight of 6-2 and 215 pounds, Dowdell is a solid player to throw against Big Ten defensive lines!

Mr. Dowdell, welcome to our cherished Huskers!
