West Virginian and Delawarean Tomiwa Durojaiye talks about his plans to move to Florida.

 

Tomiwa Durojaiye, a defensive lineman from West Virginia, committed to Florida State on Tuesday through the Transfer Portal, greatly enhancing the Seminoles’ roster. He joined Georgia edge Marvin Jones Jr. as FSU’s second blue-chip defensive line addition in the portal.

Durojaiye choose the Seminoles over Auburn, Miami, and numerous other universities. The 6-foot-4, 278-pound player gave Noles247.com an exclusive explanation of his decision:

Tucker Center in Tallahassee, Florida, Florida State men’s basketball will play Wake Forest to conclude a seven-game homestand on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The ACC Network will broadcast the Seminoles vs. Demon Deacons game. FSU had an 8-6 record going into the match, with a 2-1 ACC record. FSU has triumphed in four of its last five games. The Seminoles will honor their Native American roots by donning turquoise. Since the jerseys were first debuted during the 2013–14 season, FSU will have worn them 27 times. FSU will be wearing them against an ACC opponent for the seventh time. When playing against ACC teams wearing turquoise uniforms, FSU is 4-2.

WF is 11-3 overall, including a 3-0 record in early ACC play. They have won nine straight games going into Tuesday’s match. For the first time since 2008–09, they are unbeaten in the ACC. They have also won six straight games with 80 points or more.
