Sad News: “I Want To Leave” Disheartening News As Michigan Best WR Is Set To Depart Team Due To…

The best wide receiver for the Wolverines is on his way up.

Roman Wilson, a wide receiver, has declared he would be entering the NFL Draft, meaning the National Champion Michigan Wolverines will be missing another important offensive player for the upcoming campaign.

It should come as no surprise that the senior wide receiver accepted the Senior Bowl offer, which was extended the day following Michigan’s victory over the Washington Huskies in the National Championship.

with 2023, Wilson was the main target of quarterback J.J. McCarthy, leading the club with receptions with 48, 789 yards, and 12 touchdowns. He was selected the Wolverines’ Offensive Player of the Week six times by the time his last year at Michigan concluded.

Wilson had one additional season of eligibility because of the COVID-19 season in 2020, therefore a return was not completely out of the question. Wilson made the proper choice, though, as his draft stock is unlikely to rise further.

During his four seasons at Michigan, he made 46 games totaling 1,707 yards and 20 touchdowns. In addition to being a three-time Big Ten champion and a member of the 2023 All-Big Ten second team, he will depart Ann Arbor as a national champion.

During his Michigan career, the senior wide receiver produced a number of spectacular plays, but none more spectacular than this leaping catch on a late touchdown drive against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Rose Bowl:

Along with quarterback J.J. McCarthy, running back Blake Corum, defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, edge Jaylen Harrell, edge Braiden McGregor, linebackers Junior Colson, Michael Barrett, Josh Wallace, cornerback, and offensive linemen Zak Zinter, Trevor Keegan, Drake Nugent, and LaDarius Henderson, Wilson is the latest member of the Wolverines to declare for the draft.
