Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow are two previous Pro Bowl wide receivers that the Las Vegas Raiders have, but their long-term futures with the team are uncertain. In light of that, the Raiders must plan for the long term, and one of the numerous alternatives they should take into consideration is selecting a wide receiver early in this year’s NFL Draft. Keon Coleman, a former wide receiver for Florida State University, would be a wonderful option and is probably still available when the Raiders select No. 13 as their first overall pick.

Coleman’s only season with the Seminoles ended with 658 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. He was selected for the wide receiver, all-purpose, and specialised positions on the All-ACC First Team. Coleman played a key role in guiding Florida State to its greatest campaign ever. To the dismay of many in the college football community, the Seminoles did not qualify for the College Football Playoff despite winning the ACC title game and being 13-0.

Coleman is a tremendous athlete, so whichever team selects him in this year’s draft will be adding one. Cole attended Michigan State University where he played basketball and football before his last collegiate season. He participated in the football programme for two seasons, although he only played for the basketball squad for one season. Coleman led the team in receptions (58), receiving yards (798), and touchdown receptions (seven) during his sophomore year, which was also his final one at MSU. An All-Big Ten Honourable Mention was given to him.

Coleman was also a member of the MSU squad that defeated University of Pittsburgh in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in 2021 and finished 11-2 overall. The NFL Scouting Combine will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, from February 27 to March 4, 2024. The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25–27, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan. The No. 13 overall pick is presently in the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders.
