Nebraska made a number of in-state 2025 offers earlier this month, showcasing the athletes the Huskers are seeking to keep in the state for the future. The Huskers advanced with a 2026 offer on Thursday night, this time to Millard South tight end Isaac Jensen.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound tight end Jensen expressed how thrilled he was about the offer because he grew up loving Nebraska football.

When you get the chance to play for the team you’ve followed your entire life, Jensen remarked, “It’s a different feeling.” “Extremely thrilling.”

Matt Rhule, the Nebraska coach, and Ed Foley, the special teams coordinator, stopped by Millard South on Thursday. The Huskers were already aware with Jensen, though, as they had worked with him during a camp the previous summer.

So far, Jensen has been pleased with what he has seen and experienced from Rhule.

‌Jensen stated, “Coach Rhule’s first season really impressed me, and I think he’s going to turn the program in the right direction.” “He was very welcoming when I spoke with him last summer after the prospect camp.”

The tight end helped Millard South reach the state quarterfinals in his sophomore season, finishing with 26 receptions for 359 yards and four touchdowns.

‌In certain aspects, Jensen believes he’s making progress, but in others, he believes he still has opportunity to grow.

He said, “Route running and blocking down the field are currently my biggest strengths.” “In the future, I’ll improve my inside blocking with greater strength and weight.”

On Saturday, the tight end will attend Nebraska’s junior day along with a number of his teammates and a plethora of other outstanding recruits.

“Seeing the new facilities and getting to know more of the coaching staff really excites me,” Jensen remarked.

Jensen was offered earlier this week by Iowa State.

Jensen, who received early tenders from the Huskers, is the third in-state prospect Nebraska has extended for the 2026 class, including Dashon Prince and Champ Davis.
