The future of the offensive line is one of the major decisions that the Cincinnati Bengals must make this summer.

Jonah Williams, a first-round pick in 2019 who signed Orlando Brown Jr. to play left tackle, originally asked for a trade before ultimately being assigned to play right tackle in the last year of his rookie contract.

Now that he’s had a successful season, Williams could fetch a high price as a free agency. It’s possible that the sum of money will push him above Cincinnati’s acceptable salary level. The Bengals would then do what?

Daniel Jeremiah believes the Bengals will address it in April. Jeremiah sees the Bengals selecting offensive tackle JC Latham of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide with the 18th overall pick in his inaugural 2024 mock draft.

The offensive line needs to be addressed by the Bengals. According to several analysts, Latham is sure to place in the top 10. If he is still available at No. 18, Cincinnati would prefer that situation to occur. Jeremiah stated, “He can slide in at right tackle.”

Latham is a possibility on the offensive line that ticks several of your boxes. He attended a program that annually supplies the NFL with stars. Williams, ironically, was taken by the Bengals with the 11th overall pick in 2019 after graduating from Alabama.

Brown’s arrival might provide Cincinnati with the bookend tackles they’ve been missing since Andrew Whitworth left and, ideally, keep Joe Burrow upright and healthy moving forward. Brown is a first-round right tackle.
