Will Dezephen Walker be a part of Nebraska’s football team under Matt Rhule?
The Nebraska football program is adding more talented athletes under Matt Rhule’s direction. In his debut campaign with the Cornhuskers, he managed just three Big Ten Conference victories out of a total of five. He is currently searching for players who have the ability to win a conference championship or even go far in the College Football Playoffs. DeZephen Walker is the most recent player affiliated with them.
The Nebraska football team is adding a running back to its lineup. DeZephen Walker’s impending visit will be a step in that way. According to On 3 Sports, the second-best running back in the class of 2026 is on his way to Lincoln to observe Matt Rhule’s scheme and see if he can work his way into the Cornhuskers’ rotation.
January 20 is when his official visit is scheduled to take place. The Cornhuskers will be defeating a lot of opponents if everything goes as planned. Schools requesting his commitment include Kansas State, Arkansas, Oregon, Tennessee, Missouri, and others. Though he hasn’t made a selection yet, one program sticks out from the others.
Will the Nebraska football program lose him to Kansas?
Dezephen Walker
Their main competitors for his commitment are the Jayhawks. Walker recently visited the facilities of the Kansas football program. He said a lot of wonderful things, but according to Jon Kirby of Rivals, the way running back coach Jonathan Wallace spoke to him may have opened his eyes.
“In general, coaching is the most crucial component. My ideal coach would be someone who genuinely cares about me both as a player and as a person. Wallace said, “I also want to be a part of an amazing championship program that can help me thrive in the classroom and on the field during my collegiate career.
He emphasized once more how crucial playing time is to him. In order for him to flourish and not always battle for a spot on the team, he must not be on one that is already loaded with running backs. This is a formidable opponent for the Nebraska football team. Can they convince him to switch to playing for the Big Ten conference team?
