On Saturday, Nebraska football added Rowdy Bauer, a 2024 Norfolk ATH, as a 2024 walk-on recruit.
This week, the Huskers extended a walk-on offer to the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Bauer, who visited Lincoln on Friday to make his announcement.
For Norfolk, Bauer was a two-way player who carried the ball 110 times for 719 yards and nine touchdowns. According to MaxPreps, he recorded 25 receptions for 252 yards and two touchdowns.
Bauer used social media to announce his intention to walk on.
In recent weeks, Bauer has gotten walk-on offers from Wyoming, Louisiana, and New Mexico in addition to the Nebraska chance.
In addition to his achievements in football, Bauer has excelled in track and field. Last spring, he placed second in the Class A long jump.
