Zay Gentry appears to be a prominent figure on the Nebraska 2025 board.
He and wide receivers coach Garrett McGuire visited McKinney High School in Texas, where the Huskers have extended an offer to 2025 cornerback Zay Gentry. McKinney High School also dropped a top group earlier this month, which included Nebraska.

The corner recently announced his top eight schools, and Nebraska made the cut along side Wisconsin, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, and TCU. For the three-star cornerback, those are the other top universities. He currently has thirty offers, and this week he received one more from Pittsburgh.
Gentry is a 6-1 165-pound cornerback for McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas. As a junior, he recorded 41 tackles, two interceptions and had four pass breakups as a junior in ten games.
