Sad News: Bills Set To Loose 3 Important Players Due To Unforeseen Circumstances And…

Azeez Ojulari, Denver Broncos

With limited funds to work with, the Buffalo Bills will have to make some difficult decisions regarding their pending free agents this offseason. However, one source says they may be able to address at least one void through trade block activity.

The Bills will lose a few important edge rushers to free agency this offseason, as the Bleacher Report pointed out in an analysis of every team’s trade needs. A.J. Epenesa, Shaq Lawson, and top pass rusher Leonard Floyd are all about to hit free agency, and it’s unlikely that the Bills will have enough contract money to retain them all.

Draft selections, however, are something the Bills are abundant in, and Bleacher Report advises using one to select a promising pass rusher.

Bills Make Deal With Known Team

The source mentioned that the Bills already have a history with Brian Daboll from his tenure as offensive coordinator in Buffalo, and it speculated that they could recruit edge rusher Azeez Ojulari of the New York Giants.

The article said, “Given that the Bills already have Brian Daboll’s number, it would be worthwhile to give him a call regarding Ojulari.” Shaq Lawson, A.J. Epenesa, and Leonard Floyd might all depart the Bills in the near future. In order to replace all those snaps and perhaps start manufacturing, they must find economical solutions.

According to the source, the Bills have accumulated 10 draft picks total, and their fourth-round pick (No. 128 overall) may be used to select Ojulari.

2021 NFL Scouting Report: Georgia OLB Azeez Ojulari - The Falcoholic

Ojulari witnessed a decline in production after recording 49 total tackles and 8 sacks in his standout rookie campaign. He has only produced 30 total tackles with 8 sacks in the last two seasons.

According to Bleacher Report, he may start over in Buffalo.

According to the source, “Ojulari has struggled to stay on the field and develop beyond his promising rookie campaign in New York.” “Maybe instead of waiting to see if he can help the rebuilding Giants this season, they would be willing to move on from him for a pick now.”
