As it continues to assess and make offers to 2025 quarterbacks, Nebraska football extended an offer on Thursday to Madden Iamaleava, a four-star quarterback from Warren, California.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Iamaleava informed two Nebraska assistants, Marcus Satterfield and Glenn Thomas, about the offer.
Iamaleava has drawn the same kind of interest from power five institutions as his brother, Nico Iamaleava, a former five-star who is currently the quarterback for Tennessee.
Auburn, California, Colorado, Miami, Ole Miss, TCU, Tennessee, and other schools have extended offers to the 2025 quarterback.
Greg Biggins, National Recruiting Analyst for 247Sports, stated that the 2025 quarterback has a very high ceiling.
Iamaleava didn’t start a game until this year, but Biggins believes he has shown he is deserving of all the praise and early scholarships he received this off-season after helping his older brother Nico Iamaleava, a freshman at Tennessee. Iamaleava is a gifted volleyball player and two-sport standout, just like his older brother, but quarterbacking is undoubtedly where his future lies. Although his arm strength has always been good, he has improved his poise, accuracy, and maturity. He has the capacity to be a dual threat and can prolong plays even though he doesn’t run a lot. He’s a rough young man who is fiercely competitive, and as the game keeps becoming harder for him,
The offer comes during a period of slight restructuring for Nebraska’s 2025 quarterback class. Quarterbacks Dillon Duff of St. Louis and Matt Zollers of Pennsylvania received offers from Nebraska recently; Husker QB target Alex Manske committed to Iowa State on Thursday night.
Iamaleava is the 164th greatest prospect overall and the 11th best quarterback in the 2025 class according to 247Sports, which rates him as a four-star prospect with an overall rating of 90.
