KANSAS WIDE RECEIVER MEETS WITH STAFF FROM NEBRASKA
On Thursday, Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule had a meeting with a wide receiver in the class of 2025. Bryson Hayes attends Maize High School in Maize, Kansas.
Hayes met with Tony White, the defensive coordinator, Rhule, the wide receivers coach, and Garrett McGuire. In 2023, the three-star wide receiver earned 962 receiving yards on 60 receptions and scored ten touchdowns.
He has had offers from Kansas, Iowa State, and Kansas State. However, Hayes has prioritized the Cornhuskers over every other offer he has recently gotten, thus according to 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong, he is currently expected to commit to the team.
“I think it’s a fantastic opportunity that I’ve been given by all of these teams, but the Huskers have always been my personal favorite, and I’m excited to work with them. Coach Matt Rhule is an amazing guy that anyone would want to be their mentor.”
With four commitments, Nebraska’s class of 2025 is currently ranked 22nd in the country by 247Sports. Furthermore, the state is home to three of the four promises.
