Elite 2025 Safety Kendarius Reddick flips to UCF - On3

On Saturday night, 4-star safety Kendarius Reddick switched his commitment from Auburn to UCF, costing Auburn’s 2025 class a pledge.

Prior to this, Reddick has committed to the Tigers since October 19, 2023.

Eight days have passed after Trovon Reed, the former director of recruiting and football relations at Auburn, was appointed to become the cornerbacks coach at UCF by Gus Malzahn, leaving The Plains. Reddick has now switched to UCF.Reed is now employed as an on-field coach for the first time in Orlando.

Reddick, who 247 Sports lists as an athletic, is the 11th-ranked safety in the 2025 class and the 17th-ranked talent out of Georgia, regardless of position, that the Knights are acquiring.

Seven players make up Auburn’s sixth-ranked 2025 recruiting class, with Reddick seemingly out of the picture: The following players are rated as 4-star defensive linemen: 3-star offensive lineman Spencer Dowland, 3-star tight end Ryan Ghea, 4-star defensive lineman Malik Autry, 4-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman, 4-star edge rusher Jakaleb Faulk, 4-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford.
