Nebraska offers a scholarship to a quarterback from California.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers have extended a scholarship offer to a four-star quarterback prospect from California. Quarterback T.J. Lateef, a native of Orange, California, attends Orange Lutheran High School in the class of 2025.
At just 17 years old, T.J. Lateef has already established himself as one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the state of California. Known for his impressive arm strength, pinpoint accuracy, and remarkable field awareness, Lateef has been a force to be reckoned with on the gridiron since his early days in youth football.
He completed 1,965 yards of passing with 13 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in ten games during the previous season. In 11 games as a sophomore, he completed 2,446 yards of passing with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
There are presently 14 offers for the quarterback, including Michigan State and Penn State, both Big Ten universities. As of right now, Nebraska’s class of 2025 has four commitments and is ranked among the top 25 by the major recruiting organizations.
For Lateef, the opportunity to play for a prestigious program like Nebraska is a dream come true. With a rich football tradition and a passionate fan base, the Cornhuskers offer an unparalleled atmosphere for student-athletes to excel both on and off the field. And with a scholarship offer in hand, Lateef is one step closer to realizing his goal of playing football at the highest level.
