Good News:”A Triumphant Return” Chiefs Activate WR from ….

Now officially back on the active roster of the Chiefs is Skyy Moore.

Moore was activated by Kansas City off of injured reserve, according per the transaction wire.

Since sustaining a knee injury during the Chiefs’ Week 15 victory over the Patriots, Moore has not participated in any games. He was supposed to make a comeback earlier in the postseason, but he was sidelined after he injured his knee in practice.

Prior to the injury, Moore, a second-round selection in the 2022 draft, had not had much of an effect in his second season. He caught 21 passes for 244 yards and one touchdown in 14 games this year, down from his 22 receptions for 250 yards in the regular season in the previous year.

In the postseason of the previous year, Moore caught five catches for a total of 17 yards, including a 4-yard touchdown in Super Bowl LVII’s fourth quarter.

The Chiefs placed defensive end Charles Omenihu on injured reserve in line with this roster adjustment. In the AFC Championship Game, he tore his ACL.
