Recently, the ATP Tour launched’real’ social media profiles featuring Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, and other ‘actors’ from their hilarious’reality show’.

Tennis players from the ATP Tour staged a comedic routine in their most recent film, “The Tour: A Reality Show,” which posited that tennis is a manufactured sport with predictable outcomes. As the video opens, the writers and players are getting ready for season 52.
Murray says the following at the beginning of the sketch as the first player to speak:

“I believe that’s what most people miss; everything is merely staged, just like the players and the matches; everything is something made up. Nothing about it is true, much like in reality TV shows or wrestling. We attempt to make everything appear natural, starting with our narratives at the beginning of the year. Since people are ignorant, let’s face it, they will purchase anything.”
The tour revealed further mysteries, which led to hilarious scenes: the grunts and shoe squeaks were pre-recorded, the post-win speeches were given in a room with a green screen, and the players’ names were presumably made up and played by actors.
Some of the biggest names in tennis, including Djokovic, Murray, Andrey Rublev, and Carlos Alcaraz, are featured in the film. Some of these athletes’ “real names” come to light as they appear on television.

“Fraser McKnight” portrays Murray’s “character,” “Bert Critchley” plays Djokovic, “Thomas Johnson” portrays Casper Ruud, “real” actor Peter Arthur plays Gael Monfils, and “Richard Roberts” plays Grigor Dimitrov. The ATP Tour made their actors’ Instagram accounts, which elevated the farce to a new level.
