Bills hire DJ Mangas as offensive quality control coach

DJ Mangas has been hired an offensive quality control coach by the Bills, the organisation announced on Monday.

Mangas joined the Bills at the close of the 2023 campaign as an offensive assistant, and as of 2024, he will be a formal member of the coaching staff in Buffalo. Mangas was the tight ends coach and offensive coordinator for the University of Buffalo football team before coming to work for the Bills.

Mangas is also acquainted with Joe Brady, the offensive coordinator. Together, they were part of LSU’s staff during their 2019 national championship campaign. Mangas was an offensive analyst and Brady was the passing game coordinator for LSU that season.

From 2008 to 2011, the two performed together at William & Mary as well.

Mangas will be in the NFL for the second time with the Bills. He served as an assistant with the 2020 Carolina Panthers.
