Breaking News:Bills Make a Strategic Move with the signing Of an outstanding super star as ….

New York’s ORCHARD PARK (AP) – On Wednesday, the Buffalo Bills appointed Scott Booker, a longtime assistant coach with the Tennessee Titans, as the nickelbacks coach and senior defensive assistant.

Booker was the Titans’ safeties coach during his six-year tenure in a variety of defensive capacities. As part of Sean McDermott’s reorganised defensive staff, which is now led by recently appointed coordinator Bobby Babich, he is assuming a significant role in Buffalo. Booker coached at a number of universities for fifteen seasons prior to joining the Titans, most notably Notre Dame from 2010 to 2016 and Nebraska in 2017.

Leslie Frazier chose to take the year off to seek a possible head coaching position, leaving a vacancy in the position that Babich takes up as coordinator. The team has not yet stated if McDermott, who oversaw play-calling last season, will continue to handle the dual duty in the wake of Babich’s promotion from linebackers coach.
