We have more recruiting news, including the formal visitation of four-star quarterback TJ Lateef to Nebraska football.

The Nebraska football 2025 quarterback board has changed in recent weeks, and this week saw the official visit of four-star quarterback recruit TJ Lateef, who is a recruit.

Lateef has graduated from California’s Orange Lutheran High School. According to the 247 Sports composite rankings for the 2025 class, he is ranked 21st among quarterbacks and 243rd overall.

Nebraska football just extended an offer to the 6-foot-1, 185-pound player. On February 5th, Glenn Thomas and the other Nebraska coaches paid him a visit and made an offer.

The blue-chip prospect, who will visit on the weekend of April 27 (spring game), was impressed by that.He discussed Nebraska football with Chad Simmons of 247 Sports as follows:

“I really enjoy Nebraska. The coaches have shown me a lot of love, and they made the offer when they visited my school. I communicate with both Glenn Thomas and Marcus Satterfield, the offensive coordinators, and I feel quite at ease with them. After our phone conversation, I feel comfortable and at ease with them. I can’t wait to visit, see the school up close, and find out more about the curriculum.

Additionally, Lateef is anticipated to visit Ole Miss and Texas A&M.While he is not the only projected 2025 quarterback to visit the Huskers, he is the first to schedule a formal visit.

Three-star safety Rylon Dillard-Allen is another prospect for Nebraska football in 2025 who will pay the school a formal visit. In the 2025 class, Dillard-Allen, of Phoenix, Arizona, is placed 399th overall in the 247 Sports aggregate rankings. He is 165 pounds, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and his 100-meter sprint time was 10.86.

To me, that seems like a recruit for Matt Rhule. On February 2, Nebraska made Dillard-Allen an offer. He did go to Washington the previous month. In addition, he has received offers from Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, and Colorado.

This week marks the third official visit scheduled by a 2025 prospect, and it appears the Huskers are getting up for a huge weekend for the spring game in addition to a few more in June.
