Keylan Abrams was one of the players that altered games the most from a defensive perspective last season. The three-star 2025 linebacker from Desoto, Texas, was instrumental in helping the Eagles win a second consecutive 6A-II state championship last season. He finished with 87 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and 23.5 sacks as a pass rusher.

Abrams, a 6-foot, 195-pound prospect from Texas, is rated by 247Sports as the 78th best linebacker in the nation and the 117th best prospect overall. Abrams recently made the decision to reopen recruiting after committing to Purdue last summer. Even though he still feels a great deal of affection for the Boilermakers, he wants to see what his recruit has to give.

Keylan Abrams, Desoto - Prep Redzone

“I believe I shut it down too early and I just want to experience the entire recruiting process,” Abrams stated. “I want to go somewhere that makes me feel desired and cherished, which Purdue definitely did. All I wanted to do was resume my recruitment.”

“But as things stand right now, I believe I’m up for more business chances since I’m excited to express myself to the outside world.
I will continue to observe the recruitment process from a distance, even though I am aware that many other colleges may be interested in hiring me. I’ll give it a go if I can find a more alluring offer somewhere else.”

But i must say that i’ve always been a Nebraska fan from childhood, so if an offer can come from the Huskers,i Would be more than glad to accept the offer.
