Nassir McCoy Sets Up Visit With Tennessee
2026 security Buford, Georgia native Nassir McCoy has planned multiple springtime visits, one of which will include the Tennessee Volunteers.
Nassir McCoy, a safety from Buford High School, is a promising prospect nationally after his sophomore year. On a strong defense for the Wolves, the native of Georgia recorded 38 tackles, three for loss, and two interceptions. He has already made two trips to Knoxville, Tennessee, to watch the Vols, and he will return a third time in the spring.

He has already established a close bond with Tennessee’s coaching staff. Over the next two years of his high school career, McCoy will continue to strengthen his relationship with the Vols, who he has visited more than any other program. Willie Martinez, the defensive backs coach, has had great success with Georgia defensive backs. Tennessee signed two top corners from Milton High School, Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond, in the 2025 class. For this staff, the Peach State is very significant, and we’ll watch how they perform in this one going ahead.
