Canon Pickett Talks Nebraska Football Offer

Recently, Nebraska has embarked on a recruiting drive. To entice them to come play for their school, the Huskers present a plethora of elite players and potential.

Canon Pickett recently received an offer from Nebraska.

Pickett plays offensive tackle at Wharton High School in Tampa, Florida. He is 6 feet 4 inches and 280 pounds. A number of other universities, including Florida and Florida State, have extended offers to the 2026 potential.

He chatted with HuskerMax after receiving his Cornhuskers offer to discuss the most recent offer on his list.

“Getting the offer was really exciting,” Pickett remarked. “My friend and brother and I were all jumping around and excited.”

“The director of player personnel, Keith Williams, who serves as my coach, expressed his excitement about me and indicated that I’m a fantastic child. They informed me that there are activities like fishing and hunting up there that I would enjoy. They’re also developing a quality program.

Even if they haven’t been to Nebraska yet, some recruits have preconceived notions about the university. Pickett held his own.

“They’re in the Midwest, which sets them apart from some of my offers, but what really appeals to me is that their offensive line coach, Donovan Raiola, is a good coach with NFL coaching experience.”
Additionally,
he stated that he will visit Nebraska, though he hasn’t decided on a specific date just yet.
