Good Deal: ” I’m Definitely Sticking With The Tigers” Nation’s No.2 RB Declares His Interest To Auburn As He Makes It Official.

Prior to deciding, Top 100 RBs are given another look at Auburn.

Alvin Henderson talks about his visit to Auburn.

Auburn, Alabama Alvin Henderson, a 4-star running back and a Top 100 recruit, returned to the Plains on Saturday as part of a historic junior day for Hugh Freeze and the Tigers. Henderson had recently whittled down his list to a Top 5 of Auburn, Florida State, Oregon, Penn State, and Miami. Henderson stated that his intention has been to visit all five schools his finalists prior to making a selection in April. Henderson spent two days in Auburn visiting with the coaches, observing practices, and developing relationships with players and other recruits. That implied a visit to Auburn this coming weekend.

Henderson responded, “Yes, I was aware of the message beforehand; I was just curious about Coach (Derrick) Nix’s interactions with the running backs this spring.” I was curious to see how everything would come together because he had informed me that he would be heavily involved in the offense. I was somewhat taken aback.

Henderson claimed that although they weren’t close before Nix moved to Auburn, their relationship has deepened after the Ole Miss coach’s departure. Henderson claimed that the Tigers’ current strength is their relationships, given Freeze’s active involvement in recruiting.

He also said he was really impressed with the atmosphere around the players and the coaching staff, That he knows Auburn would be a better team compared to the rest even though he has not visited all the remaining 4 teams yet.

“Playing for the Tigers would not be a bad decision”.
