Auburn In, Bama Out, For Top In-State Recruit
Positive news for Auburn’s 2025 recruiting efforts: they continue.
It’s down to five schools for one of the best running backs in the country. The Tigers must sign at least one, if not two, elite talents from the 2025 recruiting class because Auburn will not be signing a running back recruit from that class.
Alvin Henderson, the #3 running back for the Rivals and the 36th-ranked player in the country, will choose between Oregon, Penn State, Miami, Auburn, and Florida State. Henderson makes five fascinating points in his final five.
Not Alabama? Not Georgia, then? Is Auburn the only SEC school?
Given that it’s difficult to understand Henderson’s recruitment, here are some observations regarding this list.
Until clearly demonstrated otherwise, Auburn is the clear favorite. He has a solid rapport with the AU personnel and has visited the Plains multiple times. It also doesn’t hurt that Auburn University’s campus is around two hours away from Elba (Ala.) High School.
Henderson’s most likely rivals would seem to be Miami and Florida State. They both hail from the South, and he has visited each of those institutions on several occasions. Let us observe the location of Henderson’s first formal visit.
For Henderson, Auburn seems to be in terrific shape. His inclusion into the AU football program would be greatly appreciated.
