After visiting and receiving an offer from the Crimson Tide earlier this month, Dorian Barney is scheduled to return to Alabama later this month.

Barney studies in Georgia at Peachtree Ridge High School. He has received more than 30 college football offers, and his ranking as one of the country’s best defensive back prospects for 2026 is predicted. He’ll be going back to Alabama on March 28th.

The sophomore recently told Touchdown that he thought his offer from Alabama showed how good he was.

“Getting that offer makes me feel great because I know I can play with the best and compete at the highest level,” Barney said. “Alabama is one of the biggest and best schools in the world.”

At 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, the four-star player is mentioned. He does a great job of closing on the football and attacking it in coverage. The Georgia prospect shows excellent reaction times when he predicts the direction of a play and descends with remarkable quickness.
