4-Star DB Jamarrion Gordon reacts to Alabama football offer
Jamarrion Gordon visited Alabama football earlier this week and earned an offer from the Crimson Tide.
Gordon is a 2026 defensive back out of Jackson High School in Alabama. He currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites and holds previous offers from Georgia, Oregon and Tennessee. The sophomore feels his Alabama offer is one he will cherish.
“It means a lot to me, being one of the best college programs it is,” Gordon told Touchdown Alabama.
Alabama’s defensive backs coach and Co-DC Maurice Linguist offered Gordon during a conversation in his office. The four-star liked what he heard and saw from coach Linguist during his visit.
“I love coach Linguist,” Gordon said. “His energy was out the roof at practice. The vibe was great around the new staff.”
The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder shined in coverage at cornerback as a sophomore for the Aggies. His reaction skills were also impressive as he breaks on the football with good speed. The Jackson product has shown versatility in the secondary as well. As a safety, he has no problem coming downhill and getting his nose dirty by making big hits on ball carriers.
