Corona Centennial's 4-star QB Husan Longstreet | 2023 Highlights

Corona, California On Sunday, veteran quarterback Husan Longstreet will select his college on the 247Sports YouTube channel.

With a ranking of No. 28 in the Top247 nationally, Longstreet is the best uncommitted quarterback in the nation.

On Sunday, April 14 at 2:00 PT/5:00 ET, he will make an announcement on the 247Sports YouTube channel regarding his final four, which are Auburn, Ole Miss, Oregon, and Texas A&M.

This remains a very tight race and from talking to someone close to Longstreet’s recruitment, a final decision has yet to be made. Auburn and A&M have most of the buzz right now and the plan is for the family to lock in and make their final decision and calls later today/tonight.

A&M is the Crystal Ball leader and Longstreet has a great relationship with the Aggies coaching staff and especially with new OC Collin Klein. The recent visit to Auburn was an eye opener for Longstreet and we know he loves the WR room and the QB depth chart as well.

For more than a year, Oregon and Ole Miss have been constants on his list. Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin has been recruiting Longstreet since he was a freshman, and Ducks head coach Dan Lanning has always been directly involved in his recruiting.

Over the past month, Longstreet has made unofficial visits to all four institutions and has developed close bonds with each coaching staff.

For me, it’s always been about growth and relationships, according to Longstreet. “These four schools are the ones that I felt the strongest connection to, though I had some excellent options.”

“I also feel like I can be developed the best at these four programs so that’s how they made the cut. It’s been a really tough decision and I’m still not there yet but I’m getting closer.”

Longstreet is coming off a successful junior campaign in which he ran for an additional 645 yards and seven touchdowns and threw for 3,013 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Michigan Recruiting: On300 QB Husan Longstreet talks offer, visit

He has always been a talented thrower, but it was somewhat of a revelation and something he hadn’t demonstrated before that he could pick up yards with his legs.

Longstreet isn’t thought of as a huge quarterback at 6-1, 200 pounds, but he boasts one of the quickest releases of any quarterback in the ’25 class with a strong arm. With his 77″ wing and 11″ hands, we assume he is still developing.

His impressive performance at the SoCal Regional Camp in March earned him the invitation to the Elite 11 Finals, making him the first quarterback this cycle.
