Another Departure: 4-Star Arkansas Razorbacks Forward Officially Makes His Way To The NCAA transfer site As He Flips.

Former Arkansas men’s basketball forward Baye Fall transfers to Kansas State

FAYETTEVILLE — As first reported by On3, former Arkansas men’s basketball forward Baye Fall committed to Kansas State on Saturday.

Following the departure of former Arkansas coach Eric Musselman for Southern Cal, Fall made his way into the NCAA transfer site.

He is still eligible for the next three years. It’s unknown if he had a meeting with John Calipari, the new coach of Arkansas.

The former McDonald’s All-American played just 44 minutes this season for the Razorbacks, which was a small role for him. The forward, who is 6-11, averaged 1.3 rebounds and 0.8 points.

Fall was rated as a 4-star prospect and was a consensus top-50 recruit. He committed to Arkansas over Auburn, Rutgers, Baylor and several other high-major programs. He was the sixth player to enter the transfer portal after Musselman’s departure.

Fall joins Joseph Pinion (Arkansas State), Tramon Mark (Texas) and Trevon Brazile (NBA Draft) as the only former Razorbacks to have decided on their future plans.

Keyon Menifield, Layden Blocker, Davonte “Devo” Davis, Khalif Battle, Denijay Harris and walk-on Cade Arbogast are all in the portal but have not announced their future plans.

Those uncommitted players could return to Arkansas should Calipari and his staff invite them back.

El Ellis, Jeremiah Davenport, Jalen Graham, Makhi Mitchell, and Jalen Graham have already used up all of their qualifying opportunities. Lawson Blake, a walk-on forward, is the only member of the squad from the previous campaign.

Since his arrival, Calipari has filled four scholarship roster vacancies, with Zvonimir Ivisic, Karter Knox, Joel “Boogie” Fland, and Billy Richmond coming from Kentucky.

Transfer to Massachusetts Josh Cohen renounced his commitment to play for the Razorbacks in order to follow Musselman at USC.

There are nine scholarship roster spots left for the Razorbacks to fill. According to reports, Oklahoma State’s Brandon Garrison and Tennessee’s Jonas Aidoo will be in Arkansas this weekend.
