April 27: IF Andy Ibáñez (left hamstring strain) could rejoin Tigers next week
Ibáñez is 3-for-6 with two doubles through two games of a rehab assignment at Triple-A Toledo. He returned to Comerica Park for infield work Saturday afternoon, but is scheduled to resume his rehab stint on Sunday and start at second base for the Mud Hens. If that goes well, Ibáñez could return as soon as Monday when the Tigers welcome the Cardinals to Detroit.
