Auburn basketball hosts forward transfer from SMU
Bruce Pearl, the head coach, and Auburn basketball welcomed a new transfer this week. When former SMU forward Ja’Heim Hudson visited the campus, he had a positive impression of the team.
According to Auburn Live, Hudson remarked, “It was lovely, I loved it.” “What a lovely setting, such a nice place to be, and so kind. The finest part was that I’ve never felt such a warm welcome. From the moment you arrive on campus, you can sense the enthusiasm.
Hudson went on to say that the Tigers’ coaching staff gave him a straightforward pitch, explaining expectations and how he would fit into the program. He also noted that as a kid who grew up in Georgia, Auburn is the place to be. The forward isn’t afraid of competition for playing time either, which he will face with returning forward Chaney Johnson.
“I’m eager to get going. They hear me say I want to get started. Hudson stated, “I hope to play a major part in the winning factor.” “I love a good competition. I’m going to try my hardest when I come. I’m going to work here, and my efforts will be evident.
The University of Texas-Arlington and Nebraska will have to contend with Auburn basketball for the forward’s commitment, but it appears that the Tigers’ offer will be difficult to turn down.
