Jamarrion Gordon, a four-star safety prospect in the 2026 class, committed to Alabama football on Saturday, according to On3.

According to 247Sports Composite, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound product of Jackson, Alabama, is ranked as the No. 17 safety in the 2026 class and the No. 10 prospect in Alabama.Among the twenty offers he received, he selected the Crimson Tide over offers from Auburn, Georgia, and Miami.

Gordon becomes Alabama’s first commit for the 2026 class. During his final seven games as a sophomore at Jackson High School, he recorded 30 tackles—two of which were for loss—one sack, one interception, one fumble recovery, and seven pass breakups.
