USC football continues to search for a high-end offensive tackle for the program, offering four-star 2025 Mobile (Ala.) offensive lineman Carde Smith last week. Smith is currently committed to the Auburn Tigers, committing back in April.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Smith is rated the No. 243 overall prospect and the No. 26 offensive tackle in the 247Sports rankings. Smith is the No. 259 overall prospect and the No. 27 offensive tackle in the 247Sports Composite.

Overall, Smith is the third Auburn commit the Trojans have moved in on in 2025. USC offered four-star Auburn defensive line commit Jourdin Crawford and are also recruiting fellow four-star Alabama defensive lineman Malik Autry. Auburn is heavily involved with USC five-star QB commit Julian Lewis.

But from the current situations unfolding, it seem Carde Smith is likely not to leave the team as coach Huge Freeze feels he is still willing to stick with the Auburn Tigers.
